Itinerary
Your Yangon city tour will not be completed without taking an interesting trip on the Yangon circular train. This is a unique way to see a full picture of this fascinating city.
8.30AM: You will be picked up at meeting point - The Immanuel Baptist Church (next to the Mahabandoola Garden near Yangon city hall).
Then, we move to the Central Railway Station to catch our train. This railway network was constructed to serve Yangon Metropolitan Area. When the train starts running, the scenery is changing, from the bustling downtown to the peaceful rural areas.
After about 1.5-hour drive, we will stop at Da Nyin Gone station and visit its vibrant local market. Here, you will not only have an opportunity to experience the daily life in Yangon but also learn more about the produces which are crucial to the locals. You are free to walk around and explore the area in 45 minutes. Coffee and tea at the vendors is always available if you feel thirsty.
Next up, hop on a taxi as we move to visit the cathedral of St. Mary in the center of the town.
Without a doubt, Yangon circular train tour is a great way to explore the whole area of Yangon from downtown to suburbs with full of surprise and excitement.
You will be dropped off at the meeting point in The Immanuel Baptist Church in the downtown Yangon. End of Service!
TRIP NOTES:
- Duration: 3 to 4 hours
- Meeting point: The Immanuel Baptist Church (next to the Mahabandoola Garden near Yangon city hall).
- Ending point: The Immanuel Baptist Church. From here, there are plenty of taxis and it will take few minutes to get to most central Yangon hotels. Your guide will be able to assist you with getting a taxi, if you like.
- Dress standard: Comfortable footwear, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat and a rain coat are also necessary things to pack. And always remember to check the weather before you go.
- Your Trip: Your tour will be in a small group of a maximum of 10 people.
- Child Policy: Children from 6 year olds are permitted on this tour and pay as an adult. Please inform us when booking. Children below the age of 6 are not permitted on this tour.
